The Anticipation is Killing You.

|

Last Friday baby Mason and baby Jaxon arrived. Mason came in at a whopping 6 lbs. 1/2 oz. and 18.5". Jaxon was 5 lbs. 1 oz. and 18.75". Mason got to go straight to the newborn nursery; however, Jaxon was taken to the NICU and is still there. Mason will hopefully be coming home with Emilie today (Tuesday). Jaxon could come home by the end of the week, but we're still not sure.

Here are some pictures (Jaxon on the top, Mason on the bottom):

For anyone who wants to compare, you can see a similar picture of Chase in this post from his first days on Earth.

So how's Chase? He's only seen Mason once but he seemed good with the baby. He's very gentle but doesn't seem to really understand the implications at this point. In unrelated Chase news, we recently purchased a "big boy" bed for Chase. He hasn't really slept in it much since he now wields the awesome power of being able to get out of bed on his own whenever he wants. He's sleeping in it right now as I type this. He thinks he's so cool.

More baby update another time for anyone who wants the details.
